Até 2015, João Fiadeiro distanciou-se da criação coreográfica e dedicou-se à investigação artística e criatividade científica. Isto levou-o à antropóloga Fernanda Eugénio, ela própria atraída para as artes performativas devido à sua crescente preocupação com a presença do interpretativismo relativista nas ciências sociais. Esse encontro concretizou-se na Conferência-Performance Secalharidade, apresentada na Culturgest, em Lisboa, em Junho de 2012. Durante a Conferência-Performance, Fiadeiro e Eugénio desenham as regras gerais de um possível “viver juntos” inspirado pelas suas investigações. Perante o público e em tempo real, desenvolvem um dialogo escrito. O resultado toma a forma de uma faixa-manifesto que é reproduzida nesta edição especial.

Until 2015, João Fiadeiro distanced himself from choreographic creation and dedicated himself to artistic research and scientific creativity. This led him to the anthropologist Fernanda Eugénio, herself drawn to the performing arts due to her growing concern about the presence of relativist interpretativism in the social sciences. Their encounter is embodied in the Conference-Performance Secalharidade, presented at Culturgest venue, in Lisbon, in June 2012. During this Conference-Performance, Fiadeiro and Eugénio sketch the general rules of a possible "living together" inspired by their research. In front of the audience and in real time, they develop a written dialogue. The result takes the shape of a banner-manifesto that is reproduced in this special edition.
