Iniciado em 2013, o projecto Souvenirs from Europe é uma série de 21 cartazes concebidos por artistas (fotógrafos, designers, performers, artistas visuais) que vivem e trabalham na Europa. Foi-lhes pedido que criassem um souvenir político do “Nosso Tempo”, ou que escolhessem um objecto de protesto (tal como existiam canções de protesto nos anos 1960-70) que retratasse o seu pais no âmbito da crise política (e financeira) que atravessa o projecto europeu. O resultado final do projecto tomou a forma de uma exposição portátil que foi proposta e enviada à espaços de arte (museus, galerias, teatros, festivais, livrarias) na Europa. O projecto foi exposto em mais de 15 cidades europeias como, por exemplo, em Atenas, Bruxelas, Berlim, Lisboa, Kiev, Paris, Nápoles, Santiago de Compostela ou Lille.

Started in 2013, the Souvenirs from Europe project is a series of 21 posters designed by artists (photographers, designers, performers, visual artists) living and working in Europe. They were asked to create a political souvenir from “Our Time”, or to choose a protest object (just as there were protest songs in the 1960-70s) that depicted their country within the political (and financial) crisis that is running through the European project. The final result of the project took the form of a portable exhibition that was proposed and sent to art spaces (museums, galleries, theatres, festivals, bookshops) in Europe. The project was exhibited in more than 15 European cities, such as Athens, Brussels, Berlin, Kiev, Lisbon, Paris, Naples, Santiago de Compostela or Lille.
