Eu fotografo-te a fotografá-lo a fotografar-me parte de um dispositivo-jogo que pretende levar o acto de fotografar até a exaustão. Nesse dispositivo, três intervenientes (A, B e C) estão simultaneamente a fotografar e a ser fotografados. Têm quatro possibilidades de acção à sua disposição: fotografar-se a si próprios (A fotografa A), fotografar uma das pessoas (A fotografa B), fotografar a outra pessoa (A fotografa C) e fotografar as duas pessoas juntas (A fotografa [BC]). Uma lista de instruções constituída por 64 frases descreve todas as combinações distintas e possíveis de realizar. Para este livro explorou-se uma variação substituindo as designações dos intervenientes (A, B e C) pelos pronomes pessoais Eu, Tu e Ele.

I photograph you photographing him photographing me starts off from a game-device whose intention is to take the act of photographing to exhaustion. In that device, three players (A, B and C) are at once photographing and being photographed. They have four possibilities of action at hand: photograph themselves (A photographs A), photograph one of the persons (A photographs B), photograph the other person (A photographs C), and photograph the two persons together (A photographs [BC]). A list of instructions consisting of 64 sentences describes all the combinations that can be accomplished. This book explores a variation that replaces the names of the interveners (A, B, and C) with the personal pronouns I, You, and He.
