Na madrugada de 18 de Maio de 1980, na véspera de uma primeira digressão na América, Ian Curtis, vocalista e letrista da banda pós-punk Joy Division, enforcou-se na cozinha da sua casa. Na altura da sua morte, a sua saúde mental estava a degradar-se devido à epilepsia e à tentativa de equilibrar as suas ambições musicais com o seu casamento. A sua esposa Deborah encontrou o seu corpo na manhã seguinte. O livro reúne vídeo-stills de covers de adolescentes da famosa canção Love Will Tear Us Apart, e comentários desta canção em fóruns.

In the early hours of 18 May 1980, on the eve of a first tour in America, Ian Curtis, lead singer and lyricist of the post-punk band Joy Division, hanged himself in the kitchen of his house. At the time of his death, his mental health was failing as a result of the epilepsy and attempting to balance his musical ambitions with his marriage. His wife Deborah found his body the next morning. The book gathers videos-stills from teenagers’ covers of the famous song Love Will Tear Us Apart and comments of this song on forums.
